What are the most common SEO mistakes?
Keyword Spamming.
Example: “Yesterday when i typed in the keyword spam in a search box i ended up with a lot of spam in my inbox and was put into my spamming folder for all spam emails that would come from spammers. Now if I spam the spammer by spamming his spam. Will the spammer stop spamming me.”
This is a ridiculous example but often clients and SEO guru’s believe that keyword spam is good if you know how to use it well. Well maybe google or bing or whatever search engine will put you at a higher level if done right… but now think about it this way would you really want to read a poorly written site… I often see this problem with lawyer website where they fill their content with as many possible keyword. I am sure that helps somehow their ranking but their Bounce rate must be close to 75%…
Who wants a lawyer that has very bad content and makes their site seem like a 1980 coked out car sells man?
Point is Spamming may help at first but eventually your potential clients will Bounce.
When will the government give Internet companies the chance to have incentives as well.
In the recent years georgia has seen a huge amount of lucrative jobs coming to its state, with Tyler Perry opening studios in Atlanta to film his many blockbusters. This tax incentive was created to compete with louisiana state which acquired many new hollywood movies. Georgia has become a powerhouse for hollywood film making and now other state and even US territories like Puerto Rico have followed in Georgia’s footstep and our offering great deals for films to come. As mentioned by Bill Thompson “Innovative companies in our state compete with the best in the nation, and Georgia is well-positioned to support the growing digital entertainment industry.”
With internet marketing commercials and videos becoming more and more predominant in the world it seems odd that the government has not promoted yet, a tax incentive for internet companies. Video games, Home Marketing and Enterprises have all thir own tax incentive program, so why not internet marketing. We are a real industry, there is not one company in the united states that does not use the internet other than maybe amish communities. So why are we the last ones to get help from the government? I am sure eventually we will get more help but in the mean time it is hard to attract or create new businesses in Georgia.

First you need to gather all your assets. Any and all pictures you have Logos, Texts, animation videos etc.
Once you have everything, time to organize your assets.
For example:
File names: “Tachyons_coffee_mugs.mov.”
Title tags: insert proper keywords in the tags “String theory and Tachyons Coffee mugs”
Keywords: Make sure you use your heading appropriately. Don’t make a heading called Stuff. It should be “String theory and Tachyons Coffee Mugs”
Tags for images: Images have a place to enter the image description “Tachyons Coffee Mug.”
Search Engines display pages that are “useful” to a person. If I create a website that is dedicated to selling anything and everything related to String theory and Tachyons called “Tachyons are the leaders of the universe” there is a good chance that someone looking for just the keyword “Tachyons” will never find me.
However If someone is looking for that particular phrase I am pretty sure that my site will appear in the top ranking on google/bing/yahoo etc… without having to necessary optimize my page or start a huge add campaign.
Each page that we create and even the domain name, have to reflect the meaning of the page. It is not useful to call the Homepage “Home” Or the service page “Services.” Each title page we give is the first thing a search engine will look at, just as we do when we enter a library to look for a book.
That being said the first thing that would need to be done, is that the page engages SEO, SEM, Design and Development. So the first steps to a quality website should answer these Questions:
Who would be my main target audience?
What should my site show?
What am I trying to sell?
What are my competitors doing?
What would they need to type to find me?
How would they find me?
Where would they find me?
Should I create facebook, Blogs, Articles?
What should my site look like?
What should my navigation be like?
How many pages am I building?
Google keywords and other programs are extremely useful to find trends but in the end, our common sense is what guide us on the internet.
One you created your site map using proper keywords. You move on to the assets.
SEO has become the daily life of any webmaster; At times making the webmasters think like philosophers, scientist and even B.S artist. But the important lesson to learn here is that everyone has different tricks or ideas on how to increase the value to their site. Sadly, the truth is, there are none except the fact that if a good relevant site is created it will get discovered.
